Do I have to pay to study at UoPeople?
At UoPeople there is no cost for tuition. Instead, we ask for a non-refundable Application Fee of $60 and an Assessment Fee of $120 per Undergraduate course, or $300 per Graduate course. For those who can’t afford this cost scholarships are available.
What is your accreditation?
University of the People is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC).
What is the learning model for University of the People?
University of the People is a 100% online university. The small online classroom setting (20-30 people) allows for a community of supportive collective peer thinkers and teachers.
How long does it take to earn my degree?
Full-time Degree Seeking students may enroll in up to 2-3 courses per term, and part-time Degree Seeking Students may enroll in 1 course per term. Students generally complete the Associates Degree in 2 years, and a Bachelor's Degree in 4 years.
